Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress known for her role in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! The actress was initially famous for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred along with the veteran actor Anil Koopor. Next, she appeared with Aamir in Dil. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she was able to learn dancing at a young age. While still a teenager she attempted acting, however most films she attempted to make did not succeed. Then she found her way to success and went on to be one of the top actresses within the Indian film business. She decided to take a break from her career after her wedding before returning to the entertainment industry. She was recently a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was awarded the film eight Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. The award was also given to her for her work in the field of social work.
