April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4th, 1995. In seventh grade she began playing the guitar as well as taking piano lessons, sparking her interest in writing songs. April Lockhart composed her first single"Different" at twelve years old. As April approached 14 years old, she devoted long hours creating song ideas and perfecting her music. In the following months, April started to take trips across NY and LA with her Dad so that they could both to write songs. I'm not looking to be only known as a disability expert. It doesn't impact my everyday life. I do the normal things and I've adapted to my disabilities. Because it's an integral part of me It's a topic worthy of discussion. Lockhart is a true source of motivation for self-acceptance generally she is on a long process to attain this. However, she admits that she has had periods that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance and wearing clothing which displayed her arms. Now she wears whatever outfit she likes and uploads photos on Facebook with pride. What makes self-love so appealing to her is that it's not an end place to go. This is a process, and I'm sure that you never get there. It's essential to have those that know and appreciate your situation. They'll be the ones to ask what you worry about?
