Anita Barone

Barone was in the fourth season of Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was part of the crew in the show Carol & Company in early 1990s alongside actress Carol Burnett. Barone had also played her husband, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends her first appearance. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone following her departure from the show because she wanted to play a part-time character with a bigger part, was able to fill her. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) as well as on The War at Home between 2005 to the year 2007. Barone has also been a guest on Daddio which was a sitcom that aired in 2000. Barone's television credits also are Desperate women Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role in the show One Last Ride. The following year, three years following the time that The War at Home ended the film's run, Barone began her recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Her husband, actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones the ex-husband of Barone's character.
